Our Chunky rings consist of gold plating and recycled 925 silver and as with all gold plated jewelry, the gold can gradually fade over time, while silver can discolor or darken in some parts, it oxidizes. It is natural, but fortunately not a permanent condition, as silver can always be polished like new again. We want our jewelry to be used year after year and we want to help you take care of your jewelry wardrobe over time. You can always return your Chunky rings or other Nootka jewelry to our local jeweler through our Nootka Care service. After a week or so, you get them home again - brand new. Our Chunky Hoops are meant to last a lifetime.
